Wearable Arts, Juneau Arts and Humanities Council (JAHC) Annual Fundraising Event
Since 2003 NorthWind Architects has assisted JAHC with design collaboration, seating layout, code compliance, event construction workforce, technical development and management for the annual Wearable Arts Extravaganza. The design was done in collaboration with lead conceptual set designers Bauer/Clifton Interiors.
Typically seating 800 patrons for the two shows, this is the non-profit organization's flagship fundraising event. The Wearable Arts event is based on Montana World of Wearable Art in Wellington, New Zealand, the preeminent annual international event started in 1987.
