A popular local seafood destination, Tracy’s Crab Shack consists of, as the name suggests, food “shack” right along the pier in downtown Juneau. By 2013, the business had outgrown its previous location and had procured a new, larger space on the dock.

It was important to the client that the look and feel of her brand continue to the new location: the authentic feeling of a working pier where customers can enjoy a relaxed and comfortable outdoor dining experience. NorthWind was hired to help in the design of a new, larger cook shack, a beer shack, space planning on the pier, furniture design, and the design of a semi-permanent tent structure to protect customers from the rainy Juneau days
