Ben Kraft
Ben Kraft is an architectural associate, designer and production specialist at NorthWind with years of experience in the design and construction fields. From nearby Sitka, Ben is thrilled to be living in Southeast Alaska once again after a Navy enlistment and then pursuing his B.S. Arch at the University of Idaho and M. Arch at the University of Minnesota.
Ben is especially interested in how design can positively impact the financial barriers to housing. This pursuit has helped him to be conscious of project constructability and the material / financial realities of homebuilding while perfecting an architectural style deeply rooted in the geographical and cultural context of Southeast Alaska.
When not hounding contractors, he can usually be found out exploring remote rivers with his fly rod or chasing his wife up one of the areas many trails.
